'Our' Dr. Bhaskar Das is no more with us. He breathed his last at around 1:30 a.m. today (27 July 2011) at Guwahati. His funeral ceremony held at Nabagraha crematorium this afternoon was attended by many of his friends, colleagues, well-wishers and family members.
An alumnus of batch 1972, Bhaskar had also completed his post-graduation in General Surgery.
He was working under state health department.
A popular fellow, an outstanding artist and painter, Bhaskar brought many laurels for GMC during his GMC days.
Always an outspoken personality, he was closely involved in all college and students’ activities.
