Dr. Bhabesh Chandra Kakaty, Professor & HOD, Department of Neurosurgery, GMHC, an alumnus batch 1963 is critically ill presently. He has been air-lifted to Sir Gangaram Hospital New Delhi on 12 November from Guwahati for further treatment.
A pioneer neurosurgeon and instrumental in establishing the Department of Neurosurgery in GMCH needs help from alumni of GMC in this hour of need.
