Dr. Mahesh Deka, alumnus Batch 1970 won THE Prestigious FIRST PRIZE in the All Assam Article Writing Competition on "Patriotism and Humanism in Dr. Bhupen Hazarika's Literature" recently.
The Competition was organized by the Pragjyotishpur Sahitya Sabha under the Asom Sahita Sabha, Gauhati University, Guwahati 781014.
Dr. Mahesh Deka was awarded the Late Nagendra Nath Sarma Memorial Prize and a certificate. The award ceremony was organized at the B.K.Baruah Auditorium, Gauhati University on 10 March 2012.
