Our respected and beloved Chandra Da, Dr. Chandra Kanta Talukdar has passed away at around 7 p.m. on 2 September at Nalbari.
An alumnus of second batch (1961), Chandra da was FIRST ELECTED GENERAL SECRETARY OF GMCSU.
Known as a renowned and popular physician, he was associated with so many social organizations and Indian Medical Association.
How can we forget his gracious and warm presence at our Grand Golden Jubilee Alumni Meet at Guwahati of 11 December 2010!
